A Little Late?

We had a nice Thanksgiving with two other missionary families. It was nice to get away and have some fellowship. Our car broke down on the way home. We were less than an hour away, but it was getting late. We called our mechanic and he told Mack the problem, a few hours later we were back on the road and made it safely home. Thankful my husband knows how to fix things.

Nehemiah turned 9, on November 28th. He got a bike. He out grew the old ones we had from Naomi and Matthew. Mack found a nice used one in town. Nehemiah begins in September, my birthday is only two months away. In October my birthday in next month. With his birthday being at the end of November it is a very L-O-N-G month. On Saturday visitation they were waiting for him in Kojokrom to get him wet. He was looking forward to that. Then on Sunday those from the church got him again. (If it is your birthday here in Ghana they get you wet.)

Sunday November 29th, we had 2 from Kojokrom getting baptized. We enjoyed our walk down to the ocean, through the fishing section and down to a quieter part of the beach. It is not a beach where people vacation and things, it is mostly for the fisherman and it's kinda of YUCK! You will find a few kids splashing in the water but for the most part it's empty.

We have decorated for Christmas. Harmattan is here. There is dust everywhere. Harmattan is sand from the Sahara desert that blows in. It covers everything. You breathe it and swallow it and your nose, throat and eyes are dry. Instead of snow, we get sand.
